Takekawa, Joyce Kay Age 71, of Shakopee, passed away on March 13, 2020 after a courageous battle with cancer. Preceded in death by her mother, Phyllis Takekawa. Survived by special longtime friend, Gerald Houlder, sisters Carol (Dick) Dean, Susan (Curt) Nelson and brother Scott (Sue) Takekawa, 5 nieces, 2 nephews, and many relatives and friends. Memorial service will be on Friday, August 7 at 11:00 AM at St. Andrew Lutheran Church, 13600 Technology Drive, Eden Prairie. No visitation, seating 10 minutes before service, masks required. Internment Lakewood Cemetery 1:00PM at the Memorial Community Mausoleum. Memorials preferred to Twin Cities JACL Scholarship Fund.
