Ayers, Elisabeth Margarete Diemke Age 68, passed away on July 17, 2020. Elisabeth was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina on Nov. 22, 1951. As a German diplomat's daughter, she was a world traveler in her youth. In the 1970s she settled in St. Paul, Minnesota with a nursing degree. There she met Ron Ayers and they married in 1975. They built their home and family in Blaine. Elisabeth was an artist of many abilities and passions including acting, textile arts, and fine arts. She was a lover of nature and music. Her great sense of humor was one of her most memorable characteristics. Elisabeth is survived by her husband, 3 children, 5 grandchildren, and 2 sisters. She is under the care of Gearhart Funeral Home; the funeral will be at Morningside Memorial Gardens on August 8 at 11:00 am. Memorial donations to Minnesota Orchestra.
