Berg, Marilyn Rae (nee Sudmeier) passed away on April 23, surrounded by her three children. She was born to Carl Henry and Ingrid Louise Sudmeier on Jan. 18, 1937. She was a graduate of South High School and was Aquatennial Queen. She went to business school in Minneapolis. She met her husband singing in the church choir. They were active in the Luck community and proprietors of the D'Luxe Theater and Teen Club in Milltown. When Duncan Yo-Yo closed they moved to Minneapolis. Marilyn became a Realtor and appraiser for the V.A. and later became manager of the Duffs Celebrity Golf and Tennis Tournament and the Jaycee National Convention. She also served as a trustee of the Village of Luck and for the Luck Museum when she moved back to her old homestead. She was preceded in death by her parents and ex-husband Bob. She is survived by her children: Stephen Matthew Berg, Lynda Christine Olds (Dick) and Susan Elizabeth Matusiak, all of whom lived close by in Luck. Two brothers, James and Paul; four grandchildren, Chase, Winston, Matthew and Alida; three great-grandchildren and her special friend TC, all of whom carry her in their hearts.
