Helbig, Donna Mae (Farley) 92, of Bloomington, passed away peacefully April 27, 2020.

Preceded in death by husband, Paul; daughter, Susan Runnels; sister, Mary Ann Rodier. Survived by children, Russ, Peggy (John) Hanson, John (Becky) Porter, Nancy Jancourt, Patrick (Rhonda), Mary Jo (Jon) Bishop; son-in-law, Mark Runnels; grand-children, Catherine (Ian) Sheppard, Christine (Robby) Cecil, Cortney (Brent) Salzman, Shawna (JJ) Munguia, Drew (Becca) Porter, Stephanie (Josh) Smith, Jennifer (Joe) Leisdon, Matthew Runnels, Lillian Runnels, Eric Bishop, & Evyn Bishop; 11 great grandchildren.

Donna was born in 1927 in Cogswell, ND, moved to Minneapolis in 1937 with her family. She graduated from Central High School, Class of 1946. She and Paul raised their 7 children in Bloomington, where she worked at Community State Bank for 20 years. She was a faithful member of St. Edwards Church, enjoyed golfing, attending plays and being a part of multiple bridge clubs.

Donna lived her life to the fullest, her zest for life was contagious to all who knew her. Her charm and outgoing personality made her the heart of every party and her love for family and friends made our hearts complete.

Special thanks to the loving staff at Mount Olivet Home for their care the past few years.

Private service May 13th. Burial next to her love Paul at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

Celebration of life to be held barring any state restrictions, August 22nd. 2:00 - 6:00 at Poor Richards in Bloomington. We will push this date out if necessary to hold the event mom deserves!
