Bragg, Joy Joy/Mom passed away on March 29th, just 25 days prior to her 90th birthday. A force to be reckoned with, she was a matriarch, wife to Jim who preceded her in death in 2013, and mother to Joy Ann (John), Chuck (Lori) and Gaye (John), grandmother to Cooper and Mackenzie (Joy Ann) , to Adam, Brandon and Keegan (Chuck) and Kelsey and Torina (Gaye) and finally to her great grandchildren Annabelle, Chloe and Brenneck. She worked as an Office Manager at Hopkins Eye Clinic, retired and rehired multiple times for 30+ years, as a florist and for a golf course. She was an avid and accomplished bridge player and bowled a cool 265 average for decades. Born in Fargo, she moved to Portland Oregon with "the girls" as she called her pals in their early 20's and married Jim from South Carolina who was 100% devoted to her for over 50 years until his death by Alzheimers. At that point, she devoted herself to raising funds for Alzheimer's research. She believed in the power of prayer and was committed to taking her children to church. She loved musical theater, birds, plants, books, and barbeque ribs and as Dad said "she would die for you kids and grandchildren". We'll miss you, Mom. You told us we could do anything and we knew we could, with you behind us! Her life will be remembered with a gathering at the Glenn Senior Living Community when safety permits. Memorials go to Alzheimer's Association of Minnesota. Washburn-McReavy.com Strobeck Johnson 952-938-9020
