Allen (Cowles), Ellen Louise Born Sept. 13, 1943 (age 76) in Wichita, KS, died suddenly from natural causes on March 13, 2020, in her Richfield, MN home. A strong role model to the family she loved, Ellen lived a life of service. A teacher and friend of immigrants, incarcerated people, and children, Ellen spoke her truth and sought justice. She was deeply connected with her American Baptist Church family, serving in leadership, singing in choir, and supporting her community with tireless service. She loved to read and was a lifelong learner. She is preceded in death by her son, Neil (2010) and parents, Alan and Eileen Cowles. Survived by husband of 56 years, Eugene; siblings Elizabeth, Kraig, Clayton, and Sarah; son and daughter-in-law, Ryan and Dara; and grandchildren, Randy, Natasha, Shawn, Sheila and Zach.
