Kendall William Palmer

Palmer, Kendall William age 53 of Eden Prairie, MN passed away on December 14, 2019 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital from a devastating neurological illness that he battled for three months. Preceded in death by his father, LeRoy W. Palmer and special great-grandmother, Alma Rasmussen. He will be greatly missed by mother, Kristin Palmer; brother, Dr. Mitchell Palmer and wife Jennifer & beloved nephews, Nicholas and Benjamin. Also, uncle Dan & aunt Carolyn Larson, aunt Goody & uncle Dougy Vendel and many special cousins and relatives. Kendall graduated from Edina High School ('85) and University of Minnesota-Duluth ('90) with a degree in Industrial Engineering. He was a manufacturing engineer with Emerson Corporation for 12 years, most recently with the Rosemount division. Kendall valued very highly the relationships he had with his co- workers at Rosemount. Kendall was an avid outdoorsman who loved pheasant hunting and his passion for fishing was unparalleled. He treasured time spent with his family and friends at his cabin outside of Pickle Lake, ON. He also enjoyed fishing for trophy walleye on the Mississippi (Pool 2) which resulted in many special friendships. Kendall was a lifelong fan of the Minnesota Twins and the late Minnesota North Stars. He loved attending his nephews' hockey and baseball games and he mentored them to many successful Cub Scout Pinewood Derby victories. The family offers a very heartfelt thanks to the nurses and medical staff at Abbott Northwestern for their outstanding care of Kendall. A Service of Christian Burial will be held Friday, December 20, 2019 at 2 pm at St. Stephen Lutheran Church at 8400 France Ave S, Bloomington with visitation 90 minutes prior to the church service.
