Reimer, Fred Walter of New Brighton passed away peacefully with family and friends on December 4th in Fridley, MN at the age of 85. Fred is survived by his son Blake, daughter-in-law Emily and grand daughter Imogen. Fred was born on May 18, 1934 in Minneapolis MN. He graduated from Columbia Heights High School in 1952. He then attended the University of Minnesota, graduating with a degree in mechanical engineering. Fred married Audrey Reimer in 1957. Moving to New Brighton, MN Fred started a 2 decade career at Univac. Fred loved nature and spending time on his wooded land in Wisconsin. He could fix just about anything. He enjoyed working with computers and keeping up with technology. He will be greatly missed.
