Carlson, Rosalie H. Age 77, of Minneapolis, passed away August 12, 2019, at the Tower Light memory care facility surrounded by family and friends. Graduated from Swedish Covenant School of Nursing in 1963 and later earned a BSN from the University of Minnesota. Worked for 40+ years at North Memorial in nursing education, retiring in 2008. Serving at New Hope Church was important to her as was her role in the Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International. Those that knew Rosalie witnessed her deep love for others and her contagious joy that stemmed from her faith in Jesus Christ. Preceded in death by beloved husband of 40 years, Paul A. Carlson. Survived by son, Jon (Deb) Carlson and daughter, Kristen McNabb; grandchildren, Brittny (Michael) Eaver, Sommer McNabb, Anders Carlson, Peter Carlson, Jonas Carlson; two great-grandchildren; sisters Enid (Chuck) Olson and Carmen (Steve) Palmquist; many other family and friends. Reviewal Sunday, August 18, 1-2:30 PM at Washburn-McReavy Edina Chapel followed by burial at Dassel Community Cemetery. Memorial service Friday, September 6th at 4PM with visitation one hour prior at New Hope Church. Memorials preferred to the ministry of New Hope Church and the Katharine J. Densford International Center for Nursing Leadership.
