Phillips, Hugh K. of Alexandria, MN, formerly of Brainerd, MN, died on Saturday, April 20, 2019. He is survived by his three children: Wendy (Michael) Nies, Kristine (James) Gobel, Kurt (Rita) Phillips; 6 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; brother, James (Nancy) Phillips; sister, Jane Chapman. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joanne; parents, and sister, Edith Phillips. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 8, 2019, 4-8 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home, Alexandria. Memorial service with military honors will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2019, 11 AM at the Calvary Lutheran Church, Alexandria, with visitation one hour prior to the service at the church.
