Feiges, Toby It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of Toby Feiges, after her second courageous battle with cancer on Thursday, November 22, 2018, at the age of 80. Toby had the ability to see the bright side of difficult situations and spread her positivity amongst friends and family. Toby had a lot of passions, and top of her list was her husband Dale. Their shared experiences included fishing on Lake of the Woods, playing duplicate bridge, and traveling to New York City, Vietnam, Russia and other far-flung destinations. Toby was a lover of baseball, especially the Minnesota Twins, and an avid knitter, and she passed her creative talent on to her children and granddaughter. Toby was born in Huntington, West Virginia on March 10, 1938 and grew up in Portsmouth, Ohio. Toby attended the University of Wisconsin, Madison where she met her beloved husband of 62 years, Dale. Toby is preceded in death by her parents, Helen and Louis Goldberg, and her dogs Taffy and Lola. She is survived by her children, Debbie & David Kretchmar, Lynn & Ron Dunn, Steven and Jenn Feiges and Jennifer & Leigh Ann Benito, grandchildren, Zachary, Samantha and Louis, and scores of extended family members. A celebration of Toby's life will be held on January 20, 2019 in Minneapolis, MN (details to follow). Memorial contributions may be made to Minnesota Sholom Hospice (sholom.com/services/…) or the American Cancer Society (cancer.org).

Sholom Hospice Minneapolis
The people at Sholom Hospice took such good care of Toby. They made her laugh, and filled her room with light and love. The aids brought their dogs for Mom to pet, and played musical instruments, and talked and talked and talked to her. She looked forward to their visits, and they brought us all such comfort.
