Gliptis, Alexander Passed away peacefully on Sept 11, 2018 at age 69. Born & raised in Ethiopia, Alex undertook a harrowing journey to escape unrest and settled in St. Paul, where he made a life as a bus mechanic. He was a thinker, talker, writer, dear friend, & central figure in the 2013 documentary AMERICAN HEART. Survived by loving wife Nora, son Henok, daughter Tenay, & granddaughter Akiyon.
