Schwanbeck, Norman E. Age 93, of Elk River. Passed away on Mar 15, 2018 at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids, MN. Proud WWII Veteran. American Legion Post #112 member. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ernest & Minnie Schwanbeck; sister, Dorothy (Leo) Lemke; brother, Clyde Schwanbeck. Norman is survived by his wife of 73 years, Gwynneth; son, Carl (Linda) Schwanbeck; daughter, Christine (Nicholas) Vevea; 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Carol Schwanbeck. A Celebration of Norman's life will be at 11AM on Sat, Mar 24, 2018 at Lord of Glory Lutheran Church, 15550-190th Street NW, Elk River, with visitation one hour prior to service.
