PLAYER MATCHUP OF THE WEEK: Dolphins LB Joey Porter vs. Broncos LT Ryan Clady

Clady is a 22-year-old rookie with seven NFL starts. Porter is the early leader for NFL Defensive Player of the Year, with a league-high 10 1/2 sacks. The Broncos have the No. 2 offense, but rank 31st in turnover differential (minus-9).
COACHING MATCHUP OF THE WEEK: Patriots coach Bill Belichick vs. Colts coach Tony Dungy

These teams have met eight times under their coaches. Belichick is 5-3 and 2-1 in playoff games, although only 1-1 in AFC Championship Games. Belichick deserves early NFL Coach of the Year consideration for getting the Pats to 5-2 and a share of the AFC East lead after Tom Brady was hurt in Week 1. Dungy's team is an uncharacteristic 3-4 and is now playing for a wild-card berth.
HERO OF THE WEEK: Charles Woodson, CB, Packers

He has two of the Packers' NFL-high 13 interceptions. The Packers travel to 7-0 Tennessee. Titans quarterback Kerry Collins is playing well enough to win, but he's also completing only 58.2 percent of his passes with three touchdowns and three interceptions. FANTASY TIP: 'Tis the season
Using the weather forecast to determine who you are going to start is silly. But if come November, you can't decide between Ben Roethlisberger and Jake Delhomme, your best tiebreaker might be the weather forecast. How to check: www.weather.com. Under the "Sports & Recreation" menu there's a link to the forecasts for every NFL city. (Chris Carr)
