Lynx face Aces rookie star Wilson

Preview: Coming off a 22-point win at Indiana — one accomplished without starting forward Rebekkah Brunson (thigh) and backup Cecilia Zandalasini (ankle) — the Lynx will look to end the Aces' three-game winning streak. The Lynx (12-8) are tied for third in the WNBA, but the top six teams were within 2½ games of each other and the Lynx are just 1½ games out of second place. The Aces, after a 1-7 start, have gone 8-5 in their past 13 games.

Players to watch: Lynx C Sylvia Fowles is coming off a 20-point, 10-rebound, seven-assist game in Indiana. F Maya Moore scored 19 with nine rebounds and four assists in that game. Both players were a plus-26. … Forward Erlana Larkins signed a seven-day contract. … Aces C A'Ja Wilson is second in the league in scoring (20.6). She is the presumptive rookie of the year and has entered the MVP conversation. G Kayla McBride, in her past six games, has shot 53.8 percent overall, made 11 of 19 three-pointers and averaged 22.7 points.

Numbers: The Lynx have won 19 of their past 20 against this franchise, which relocated from San Antonio to Las Vegas before this season. If you thought the Lynx were behind the curve when it came to taking three-pointers, the Aces are last in the league in both attempts per game (9.8) and made threes per game (3.6). Wednesday's 22-point margin of victory for the Lynx over Indiana tied for the biggest by the team this season. Endy Miyem started for Brunson on Wednesday, becoming the fifth rookie to start a game since Cheryl Reeve took over as coach in 2010.

Injuries: Lynx F Rebekkah Brunson (thigh) is questionable. Lynx F Cecilia Zandalasini (ankle) is questionable. Aces C Isabelle Harrison (suspension) is out.
