A woman was killed and a man injured in a head-on crash Thursday morning on Hwy. 65 north of Mora, Minn., the State Patrol said.
Mia Besemann, 58, of Finlayson, Minn., died in the crash about 6:35 a.m. near milepost 73 in Peace Township in Kanabec County, the patrol said.
Besemann was driving south when a northbound pickup truck crossed the centerline and struck her vehicle, the patrol said.
Besemann was wearing a seat belt, the patrol said.
The driver of the pickup was not hurt, but a passenger was, the patrol said. The injured 30-year-old Brooklyn Park man was taken to a hospital in Mora, the patrol said. He reportedly was not wearing a seat belt.
Alcohol did not appear to have been a factor in the crash, the patrol said.
