Wide receiver Percy Harvin and quarterback Brett Favre both stand to earn recognition for their performances Sunday in the Vikings' 38-26 victory over the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field.

Harvin is a finalist for NFL rookie of the week honors after catching five passes for 84 yards, including a 51-yard touchdown, and returning five kickoffs for an average of 35 yards. Harvin set up touchdowns with returns of 77 and 48 yards. He also added 2 yards rushing for good measure to give him 261 total yards.

Harvin's competition is four defensive players and includes Buffalo free safety Jairus Byrd; Houston linebacker Brian Cushing; Carolina cornerback Sherrod Martin; and Baltimore cornerback Lardarius Webb.

Favre is one of three finalists for the FedEx Air NFL player of the week award after completing 17 of 28 passes for 244 yards with four touchdowns and no interceptions against his former team.

Also nominated were Philadelphia's Donovan McNabb, who threw three touchdowns in a 40-17 victory over the New York Giants, and Dallas' Tony Romo, who threw three touchdowns in a 38-17 victory over Seattle.
