One more away from Williams

Preview: The Gophers (6-1) bounced back from their loss at Boston College to win 83-76 Friday against Oklahoma State at U.S. Bank Stadium. Players to watch: Gophers PG Isaiah Washington scored 15 points on 5-for-10 shooting to go with four assists vs. Oklahoma State, after entering Friday averaging 4.3 points on 21 percent shooting. … Ohio State PG C.J. Jackson scored 19 points in a Nov. 28 victory over Syracuse. He only had six points at Creighton, but his three-pointer gave the Buckeyes the lead for good with two minutes left.

Numbers: Ohio State was No. 15 in the NCAA's NET rankings, the replacement for the RPI to help determine NCAA selections. Nine Big Ten teams were in the top 50.
