Lynx gameday

7 p.m. VS.seattle • TV: FSN (106.1-FM)

Lynx update: The Lynx are 2-0 despite not yet clicking on offense. PG Lindsay Whalen's grittiness and ability to get to the line (21.5 ppg, 5.5 apg) and Rebekkah Brunson's strong start (15.0 ppg on 70.6 percent shooting, 14.0 rpg) have made up for some shaky shooting; Maya Moore and Seimone Augustus were a combined 8-for-26 in Saturday's win at Indiana. C Asjha Jones (blood deficiency) returned full time to practice Wednesday and is nearing a return to the court but will likely not play Thursday. G Monica Wright (calf) didn't practice Wednesday and won't play.

Storm update: With a new coach and some new faces Seattle – which had the first and third pick in April's draft (Jewell Loyd and Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis – is trying to come together as a team. The result is an up-and-down start, with a 25-point victory over Los Angeles to start the season and a 23-point loss at Tulsa Tuesday. Veteran G Sue Bird is healthy and playing well. Former Lynx player G Renee Montgomery leads the Storm in scoring (14.5) followed by veteran center Crystal Langhorne (11.5).
