Preview: The Wild has won four in a row in regulation since the All-Star break and is 6-1-1 in its past eight. The Avalanche was shut out by the Wild, 5-0 and 3-0, in the first two games of the season. It had won four in a row before losing to Detroit 3-0 on Thursday. The Avalanche is 9-4-3 in its past 15 games.

Players to watch: Wild LW Jason Zucker is tied for ninth in the NHL with 17 even-strength goals. G Devan Dubnyk has allowed three goals in four games since the All-Star break and has three shutouts in eight starts with the Wild. He is 6-1 with a 1.48 goals-against average and .943 save percentage. C Mikael Granlund has a goal and two assists in his past two games. Avalanche RW Jarome Iginla is the all-time leader against the Wild with 67 points, 37 goals, 238 shots and 10 game-winners. C Matt Duchene has 15 points in 28 games against the Wild.

Numbers: The Avs have successfully tied scores with their goalie pulled in four of the past seven games. … Iginla, who has the second-most goals among active NHLers, is one goal from tying Mark Recchi for 19th all-time (577).

Injuries: Wild LW Matt Cooke (sports hernia) and D Keith Ballard (concussion) are out. Avalanche D Erik Johnson (knee), LW Patrick Bordeleau (knee), LW Jamie McGinn (back), D Ryan Wilson (shoulder) and C Jesse Winchester (concussion) are out. D Tyson Barrie (hip) is questionable.
