Five bad losses
Nov. 17 3-2 vs. Buffalo
The Wild blew an early 2-0 lead, giving up three goals in a row to end regulation empty-handed. The Sabres tied it in the third period with about seven minutes to go and capped off the comeback with just 1:30 remaining.
Nov. 27 4-3 vs. Arizona
This was perhaps the Wild's most stunning collapse. Arizona overcame a 3-1 deficit with three goals in the third period off seven shots in a dizzying 5:32. Before then, the Coyotes sagged through the first two periods, putting just one shot on net in the second.
Jan. 12 5-2 vs. Detroit
The Red Wings were near the bottom of the standings but didn't play like it — dominating the Wild after winning only two of their 15 previous games. Coach Bruce Boudreau called the performance the team's worst since he joined the organization.
Jan. 14 7-4 at Philadelphia
Again, the Wild crumbled in dramatic fashion. It battled back to go up 3-2 after wasting a 2-0 start, but the Flyers scored five of the game's last six goals — including two each by Nolan Patrick and Wayne Simmonds.
Feb. 12 5-4 vs. Philadelphia
Self-inflicted errors, such as an unsuccessful four-minute power play and an untimely penalty, paved the way for another Flyers rally — this time from 3-1 and 4-3 deficits.
