Here's how Ridgedale Nordstrom and Mall of America Nordstrom compare:

Exclusive fashions and departments

Mall of America: Prada, Chanel, Balenciaga, Yves Saint Laurent, Dolce & Gabbana, St. John and Oscar de la Renta. The At Home department.

Ridgedale: Ashley Graham plus-size lingerie and Penfield in the Rail (young men's department). A self-service cosmetics department lets customers explore on their own instead of asking at the counter. A beauty concierge will be available for assistance.

Restaurants

Mall of America: Marketplace Cafe is casual dining with soups, salads, sandwiches, pastas and desserts. Customers order at the counter. Wine and beer are available, but there is no bar. Seats 160. The grab-and-go Ebar opens at 8 a.m.

Ridgedale: One of three in the company, Ruscello features Mediterranean and Italian cuisine in a full-service restaurant with a separate full bar and a wall of windows. The Ebar, opening an hour before the store, focuses on coffee, tea, smoothies, grab-and-go sandwiches and salads.
