Billy Steve Clayton has been a graphic artist at the Star Tribune since 1984. He currently works as a web designer in the Digital Design department. HIs work experiences also include print design, infographics, illustration, 3D graphics and animation.

Clayton moved to Minnesota from southern California with his wife in 1984. They raised two boys in St. Louis Park. He's a graduate of California State University, Fullerton with a B.A. in Art and Music. Previous experiences includes working for a motion picture title studio in Hollywood during the 1970s and playing piano professionally for over 12 years.
