A season to forget
The Gophers tied two dubious school records on Saturday:
Fewest Big Ten wins in an 18-game conference season: 2 (tying the 1986-87 team that went 2-16, 9-19 overall)
Most losses in a season: 22 (tying the 2006-07 team that went 9-22, 3-13 in the Big Ten)
… and it's not over
The Gophers will be the 13th seed at this week's Big Ten tournament in Indianapolis. They will play the 12th seed (the loser of Sunday's Penn State-Illinois game) at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday (ESPN2) in the first round.
