To Star Tribune home delivery subscribers

We have received questions from readers about newspaper delivery as our community confronts the coronavirus.

The latest guidance from the World Health Organization is that it is safe to receive packages at home, including in areas affected by the virus. Our production process is completely automated, so it's very likely the first person to touch your newspaper is the person who delivers it. Even so, we are taking measures in our plant and distribution centers to minimize risk, such as regularly disinfecting equipment and having people work with more distance between them. And we are asking anyone involved in printing and delivering the newspaper to stay home if they are sick.

We encourage all print subscribers to activate their digital access and to make sure we have their e-mail address on file. If you receive home delivery of the Star Tribune more than one day a week, digital access is included with your subscription. You can activate it at startribune.com/welcome. If you are a Sunday-only subscriber, you can add digital access for 29¢/week by calling 612-673-7373.

Thank you for reading Star Tribune. Your support means more than ever.
