Warne, Douglas Dennis age 75, of Eagan, was born February 17, 1940 in Sioux Falls, SD to Tom and Margaret Warne. He died suddenly in his home on September 2, 2015. Doug had a strong faith in God and a unique personality. He loved travelling with his wife and family. Doug's fun loving attitude was contagious and carried on through his children and grandchildren! Doug worked at John Morrell in Sioux Falls, SD, Mohawk Carpet and Hosanna Lutheran Church in Lakeville, MN. Doug is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Kathy; children, Kevin (Lori) Warne, Kenny Warne, Kristi Nordquist, Brian Sprouse, Shannon Sprouse, and Dennis (Amber) Warne; sisters, Dianne (Zib) Even and Elaine Bjergaard; brother, Wayne (Nancy) Warne; sisters-in-law, Barb Warne, Roxanne Stevens, Shelly (Mark) Landberg; brothers-in-law, Rick (Nan) Cecka and Allen Cecka; 13 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter, and many nieces and nephews. Doug was preceded in death by his parents, son, Keith; brother, Tom; brothers-in-law, Ernie Bjergaard and Mark Stevens. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at 11 am at the Hosanna Lutheran Church, 9600 163rd St. W, Lakeville, MN 55044 with a visitation 2 hrs. prior to the service.
