Wall, Charles L. Born: November 1, 1925 Died: August 31, 2015 Charles Louis Wall, 89, of Pequot Lakes, died Monday August 31, 2015. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, September 5, 2015 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Pequot Lakes. Family and friends are invited to gather one hour prior to services. Charles was born in Green Bay, the son of Everett and Nellie Wall. He served honorably as a Marine in WWII and the Korean War. He graduated from Milwaukee School of Engineering with a degree in electrical engineering, married the love of his life, Marlys in 1951, raising their family in Green Bay, WI, where Charles was a data technician for Wisconsin Bell before retiring to Pequot Lakes. Charles was active in Our Savior's Lutheran Church. He set an extraordinary example for civic engagement and he loved family, woodworking, music and planting trees. Charles will be greatly missed and will be remembered for his quiet, gentle heart, his work ethic and moral integrity. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marlys; their daughter, Joan; and his brother, Dewaine. He is survived by their 11 children; 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one brother. Arrangements are with Kline Funeral Home, Pequot Lakes.
