Mellin, Richard DDS Age 78, of St. Paul. Passed away July 30, 2015. Long time St. Paul dentist. Graduate of Cretin High School, Class of '55 and the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. Richard was an avid golfer and loved his cameras. Survived by his children, Theresa Mellin (Bergie), Daniel, Peter, step-daughter Katie (Jay); grand-daughters Sage and Emma; brother Donald (Muff); sister, Mary Ann Jay (Michael) and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by infant daughter, Molly and brother, James Patrick. Visitation 5-8 PM Wednesday at O'Halloran and Murphy Funeral Home (575 S. Snelling Ave, St. Paul 651/698-0796) and for one hour prior to service at the funeral home. Funeral service 10 AM Thursday at O'Halloran and Murphy Funeral Home. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
