Hamel, James E. Age 82 of New Hope, passed away July 30th. Survived by wife Mary; daughters Joanne (John) Hoffmann, Barbara Guyer, Nancy (Paul) Freed; son Scott Hamel (fiancée Sandy); daughters Judy (Marty) Grotberg, Paula (Jerry) Cogswell; son, Paul (Jennifer) Hamel; 18 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren; brothers Archie Hamel and Robert Hamel. Preceded in death by parents Archie and Alice (Hansen) Hamel. Jim was a long-time employee of Northwestern Drug. Prayer service 11 AM Tuesday at Gethsemane Cemetery Chapel 8121 42nd Ave N. New Hope.
