Winnie was a devoted wife, loving mother, and active member at University Lutheran Church of Hope (ULCH) in Minneapolis for over 50 years. As a young woman, she moved west to support the war effort and became an aircraft communicator in Great Falls and Helena, MT. She married Kenny in 1948; with a growing family they lived throughout the mid-west in a 25-foot house trailer while Kenny was employed by American Bridge, before they finally settled in Minneapolis. Winnie went on to work at Honeywell for 25 years and graduated from Mankato State with a degree in Accounting. In her retirement, she traveled all over the world and found contentment in the company of her grandchildren. She was a vessel of the Spirit's love in all our lives and lived fearlessly, except when Josh was driving ("there's brakes on that thing you know")!
