Bauer, Wilma Ruth age 88, Anoka. where she had lived the past 5 years after returning to Minnesota from Mission, TX where she had lived for many years. Preceded in death by her husband, Harold and daughter, Gloria. Survived by daughters, Margo, Susan Bauer-Dominik (Bruce); sons, David (Elaine) of Madison, VA and William (Nancy) of Champlin, and many grandchildren & great-grandchil-dren, and of course, her many lifelong friends. She attended school in Sebeka, MN and celebrated her 70th class reunion this past summer. In her youth, she enjoyed square dancing and made lifelong friendships. She held many different and unique positions in her working life and until the company closed its doors, she worked at the Minneapolis Casket Company, attaching the interior linings and of course, that always brought fun conversation among friends and family. She ended her working career with employment at Medtronic and this was the one she enjoyed the most. She will be missed by everyone who knew her as the kind person she was. She had the ability to accept things as they came, including her failing health. She always looked at life as an ever-changing event. She seldom complained and always had the ability to overcome adversity and look at the bright side of life. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to your favorite charity. A Celebration of Life will be held at Gearhart Funeral Home, 11275 Foley Blvd NW, Coon Rapids, 7:00 PM Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2015 (763-755-6300) with gathering one hour prior. We will miss this gentle lady and may she rest in peace.
