Ewens, Florence Adel Age 97, of St. Paul. Passed away peacefully on July 1, 2015. Preceded in death by her husband of 52 years Richard. Survived by daughters Elizabeth "Betty" (Kim John Crumb) Ewens and Charlotte Ann Smith; many dear nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Born and raised in Deer River, MN. A dedicated federal employee in her early years, she was recognized by the President of the United States for her civil service during WWII. Later in life, Florence became one of the first graduates of Metropolitan State University, St. Paul.
