Christopher Thomas Hoffmann

Hoffmann, Christopher Thomas Age 48, of Stillwater, MN. After a month long struggle with acute myeloid leukemia and its side effects, our beloved Chris passed away peacefully on May 24, 2015 surrounded by his family. He will be deeply missed by his wife, Karen (Tostrud) Hoffmann; son Nick; daughters Bridget and Hayley; parents Tom and Michel Hoffmann; brothers Jeff (Karen) and Marc (Tori); father- and mother-in-law Jerry and Alleen Tostrud; brothers-in-law Eric (Laurie) Tostrud and Jon (Amy) Tostrud. He also leaves nieces, nephews, extended family and friends too numerous to mention. Chris was an Eagle Scout, a 1985 graduate of Forest Lake High School and earned his B.B.A. degree in Marketing from the University of MN-Duluth in 1989. Prior to joining Triple Tree in 2005, Chris held executive positions at Tier 1 Research, Gartner, GE Capital Consulting and IBM Global Services. At the time of his death, he was a partner and chief marketing officer at Triple Tree. Chris was a man of faith and he found its expression in everyday life. He had several hobbies and interests including hunting, fly fishing, skiing, reading a great book, watching his favorite sports teams play, but more importantly doing these things with his family. He was an active volunteer with youth athletics and coached his children's hockey, baseball and soccer teams. Most of all he loved his family and took great pride in their academic and athletic accomplishments. A memorial service will be held at 11 AM Friday, June 12th at Augustana Lutheran Church, 1400 Robert St. S., West. St. Paul with a luncheon to follow. The visitation will take place on Thursday, June 11th from 5-9 PM at Bradshaw Funeral Home 2800 Curve Crest Blvd Stillwater. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to St. Paul Academy/ Summit School, Regions Hospital Foundation or the Leukemia Lymphoma Society of MN. Bradshaw 651-439-5511
