Ballanger, Marlene age 82, of Mpls, passed away May 25, 2015. Preceded in death by husband, Rick and son, Richie. She will be deeply missed by her loving children, Greg (Paula) Ballanger, Lynn (Steve) Kraatz, and Paul (Deni Jo) Ballanger; grandchildren, Stephanie (Eric) Citrowske, Rachel (Paul) Koep, Shawn, Brian (Annie) Kraatz, Ashley and Jenna; great-grandchildren, Zoe, Tyler, Roxie, Peyton, and Harper. Marlene loved time spent with family, casino trips, and playing cards. She worked with her daughter at Lynn's Cake and Candy for 30 years, then retiring at the young age of 80. Marlene loved a little bling. She loved jewelry, nail polish, fancy watches, and pins. Some sparkle, not too much, not too little. Those joining us are invited to wear a little bling. Mass of the Resurrection celebrated at St. Hedwig Catholic Church, 129 29th Ave. NE, Mpls, 10:30 AM Friday, 5/29/15, with visitation 1 hour prior. Private interment at Crystal Lake Cemetery.
