Genevieve Violet (Goff) Galle

Galle, Genevieve Violet (Goff) April 28, 1927 to May 17, 2015 Preceded by parents and 5 sisters. Survived by loving husband of 67 years, Edward; four children, Pam (David From) Galle, John (Linda) Galle, Diana (John) Sanny, and Judi (Gary) Davidson; 13 grandchildren + 3 spouses; 3 great grandchildren; one sister. Genevieve was a loving angel, filled with the Holy Spirit and living a life full of love for all, regardless of race, lifestyle, or beliefs. Besides raising a family, she had several part-time jobs. The most satisfying was tutoring young students with the Roseville Schools Title I program. She volunteered with her church, starting activities such as choir, youth, seniors programs, and Stephen's Ministry. She also volunteered at St. John's Hospital and Presbyterian Homes at Johanna Shores as a lay chaplain, and with her husband at Compatible Technology International. She traveled with her husband to some 50 different countries, both as a visitor and a volunteer. Her home was always available for visitors needing a place to stay. She blessed many with her beautiful singing. Perhaps her greatest accomplishment was to develop family traditions of loving service to the world and the love of music. The family thanks the staff of Presbyterians Homes at Waverly Gardens for their loving care of Genevieve during her final years.
