Finnegan, Nancy Sortum Age 77 of Apple Valley passed away unexpectedly May 19th, 2015. Nancy battled Stage IV Breast Cancer at the age of 37. Her determination and strong will for life lead her to become a 40 year survivor, which she celebrated this year. Survived by her loving husband Larry Finnegan of 52 years, her three daughters Kimberly Gallmeier (Scott Sirek), Kelly (Jack) Krallman and Kristy (Craig) Shromoff and 8 grandchildren; Hannah, Hallie, Will, Jamie, Natalie, Esten, Louisa and Elaina. Preceded in death by parents Helen (Mix) Sortum and Elias Sortum. Funeral service Thursday, May 28 at 11:00 AM, at Church of the Risen Savior, 1501 East County Rd. 42, Burnsville 55306, with visitation one hour prior to service. Memorials preferred to the American Cancer Society or the Jane Brattain Breast Center.
