Margaret A. Goldfine

Goldfine, Margaret A. age 64, of Plymouth, passed away peacefully May 3, 2015 after a 24 year continual fight with breast cancer. Preceded in death by father, Ben Auer; and sister-in-law, Bonnie McLellan. Survived by her husband of 41 years, Howard; son, Leigh (Kristin); grandchildren, Jessica, Lillian and Logan; mother, Leona Auer; brothers, Jim, Ken (Alison), Mark (Joy) and Pat; sister-in-law, Rita Goldfine; nieces, a grand niece and cousins. Margaret's aspiration to see Leigh graduate from high school, college, and graduate school, get married and have children was fulfilled. She was a tireless supporter of cancer survivors through her numerous volunteer efforts at Methodist Hospital and Reach to Recovery. She supported and was active in the Race for the Cure, participating in the first race. She was a lifetime member of Hadassah. Her love for her family came first and she was the bond that kept us all together. She was loved by everyone she touched. Memorial service Thursday, May 7, 11:30 AM with a gathering one hour prior to service at the Washburn-McReavy Edina Chapel, 5000 W. 50th St. at Hwy 100. Private interment.
