Glasgow, Norma Edith (nee Venuti) Age 90, of Hopkins, MN, on April 16, 2015. Born to Elva Gusbar and Sebastiano Venuti in Wells Creek, PA in 1924. She grew up in Akron, OH. After graduating high school, during WWII, she worked as a typist at Bendix Radio in Baltimore, MD, typing radio code books for the Air Force. After the war, she returned to Akron, and worked as an Executive Secretary for B.F. Goodrich Co., where she met and married John (Jack) Glasgow of Akron. They moved to Cincinnati and then Endwell, New York, where they had their only child, Diana. They settled in Minneapolis in 1971, where she worked for the Hopkins School District for several years until retirement. Norma was creative, positive, fun, and enjoyed many friends at Mizpah, through working at the high school and her neighborhood groups over the years. Her favorite hobbies included sewing, golfing, crafts and reading, along with ice skating and bowling, in her younger days. Preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband Jack and her brother Gene. Survived by her loving daughter, Diana (Jeff) Wyman and cherished grandson, Henry. Memorial Service to be held at Mizpah UCC on Tuesday, April 28th, 2015 at 11:30 am, with visitation starting at 11 am. Light lunch to follow.
