Ritchie, Sharon Lee (Winge) age 76, passed away surrounded by her family in her Long Lake home on Monday, Apr 20, 2015. She was born on Oct 26, 1938, in Cobden, MN. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Chuck, sons Kent, Jake (Judy), very special grandson Luke, brother Merle (Jan) Winge, sister Vickie Winge, and her extended family. Sharon was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was dedicated to serving others in her roles as an elementary school teacher, realtor, and volunteer. She enjoyed music, travel, walking with friends, gardening, bird watching, and spending time on the North Shore. Sharon was a living example of her favorite poem, "Be the Best of Whatever You Are" by Douglas Malloch. She lived life to the fullest and her kind, loving, and gentle spirit will be missed by all who knew her. Sharon felt deeply blessed by the loving support from her large circle of friends and extended family. Sharon's family would like to thank Dr. John Seng and staff at Minnesota Oncology as well as the staff at Heartland Hospice for their excellent professional care. Memorials to Greater Minneapolis Crisis Nursery, Trinity Lutheran Church of Long Lake, or Interfaith Outreach & Community Partners (IOCP) are preferred. Private interment at Lakewood Cemetery.
