Lewis, Ruthann Our much beloved mother Ruthann Lewis of Hastings and Roseville, MN, passed away in the early hours of Wed, April 15, 2015 after a long battle with Alzheimer's at the age of 83. Ruthann will be remembered as the most amazing and loving mother and grandmother. Ruthann is survived by her children, Robin & Mike Knapp, Rhonda Lewis, Bob & Lisa Lewis and Ron & Maryjo Lewis and her grandchildren, Kelly & David Backes, Kory Knapp and Riley & Rhett Lewis. The greatest joys in Ruthann's life were her family, her incredible friends and a Hershey milk chocolate bar (not necessarily in that order). Ruth's friends were very cherished and played a huge and significant part in her life. She was known by all for her great sense of humor and her ability to always be able to laugh at herself. There was nothing Ruth enjoyed more than laughing with her family and friends and we did a ton of that! Ruthann could always light up any room she walked into. Ruthann is also survived by one of her greatest loves in life, her dog of 16 yrs "Sweety," who is now being lovingly cared for by her daughter Rhonda. As per Ruthann's wishes, there will be an intimate family gathering celebrating her life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made out to the animal charity Athletes for Animals in Ruthann's memory.
