Pexa, Colonel E. Joseph Jr. age 70 of Chanhassen, formerly of Simsbury, CT and Faribault, MN, passed away on April 16, 2015. He is preceded in death by father, Ellard. He is survived by spouse, Nancy; children, Susan (Andy) Grage, Mike (Kate) and Dan; grandson Jack Grage; mother, Dorothy; and cousins, Gary and Ron Smisek. He graduated from Bethlehem Academy in 1962, from St. Thomas in 1966 and from Marquette Law in 1969. Mr. Pexa retired as a Colonel after 34 years of service in the U.S.M.C, U.S Army and U.S Air Force. He practiced law in private practice in Milwaukee and later with Sentry, Hartford, and Chubb insurance companies. He taught as an adjunct professor at Connecticut Law School. Memorials are preferred in his name to the charity of your choice. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 21 from 5-7pm at Washburn McReavy Edina.
