Peterson, Jeffrey Lee age 72, of Burnsville, died March 31, 2015 surrounded by family and close friends. Jeff was born to Perry and Linnea Peterson on June 28, 1942. He was a 1960 graduate of Murray High School. Jeff had a strong passion for hunting big game in North America and Africa. He also cherished the many fishing trips with his friends. Jeff was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his brother, Paul (Kathy) of Alexandria, MN; daughter Teresa Gittemeier of Lehigh Acres, FL; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and long-time companion Carol Tague. Memorial service will be held Saturday, April 4, 2015 at 11:00 AM at White Funeral Home Chapel, 12804 Nicollet Ave S, Burnsville (952-894-5080) with a gathering of family and friends one hour before the service.
