Strand, Robert L. Age 75, of NE Mpls. Preceded in death by father, John Strand; sister-in-law, Sandy Strand; nephew, John Strand. Survived by wife of 44 years and "sweetheart" for 52, Doris; mother, Mae; siblings: Jack (Patty), Ronald, Shirley (Daniel) Strand Challis & Lyndon (LeAnn) Kendall; many loving nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends. Bob was a longtime member of the NE Goldbrick's, enjoyed flying, boating, softball & bowling, was proud of his Norwegian heritage and being a devoted Gopher fan. Bob loved his music but he REALLY loved his vehicles. Mass of Christian Burial at CHURCH OF ST. HEDWIG (29th Ave. NE & Randolph St.) Monday at 2 PM with visitation one hour prior.
