Hartley, Robert C. Age 65, of Minneapolis, passed over on March 26, 2015. Born May 18, 1949 in Chicago, IL to Robert and Agnes Hartley. Survived by wife of 32 years, Gerry; sisters, Sharon Willey, Susan Smith, Mary (Mitch) Johnson, Colleen (Wes) Folkestad; stepson, Donnie (Kelly) Durenberger; 2 granddaughters. Was known as Fun and Generous Uncle Bobby. Preceded in death by stepdaughter, Brenda Pouliot. Bob was a lifetime member of the Knaeble VFW Post #494 and earned the Purple Heart in Vietnam. He served on the Board of Benevolence and was a Deacon at Parkway UCC. Bob was a stagehand with IATSE Local #13. He had a delightful sense of humor and was the life of the party. Bob was a great chef and connoisseur of good food, was an avid golfer and softball player. His honesty and willingness to help marked his life. Memorial service Thursday, April 9, at 11:00 am at Parkway United Church of Christ, 3120 Washburn Ave. N, Minneapolis. Visitation Wednesday, April 8, from 5-8 pm at Gearty-Delmore Robbinsdale Chapel, 3888 W. Broadway, and also 1 hour prior to service. Interment Ft.
