Lynde, Violet Arleen age 90, of Maple Grove, born March 21, 1925 in Mpls, MN, passed away on her 90th birthday, March 21, 2015 at Maple Grove Hospital. Preceded in death by her husband, Charles; parents, Hjalmar and Marie Olson; granddaughter, Andrea "Annie" Lynde; two sisters and one brother. Survived by son, Douglas Larsen; stepdaughter, Susan Baumgartner (Dean) of Henderson, NV; and stepson, Edward Lynde (Lynn); brother, George Olson of Nashville, TN; grandchildren, Derek Lynde (Katie) of Maple Grove, Brian Baumgartner (Laurie) and Sean Baumgartner (Sarah); great-grand-children, Caitlyn Baumgartner of NV, Evelyn and Charles Lynde of Maple Grove; nephews, Douglas, Spencer and Richard Berthelsen of TX, Craig, Kevin, Randy and Tom Olson of TN; and niece, Sandra Bainbridge of AR. Violet brought needed accounting and organizational skills to the family business, Lynde Greenhouse & Nursery. Charles and Violet greatly enjoyed their camping trailers and trailer clubs for many years. They were married for 50 years and they owned two lake homes where they had many wonderful times. Violet served for a long time as an Election Judge in Maple Grove. The Order of the Eastern Star was a big part of her life for over 50 years belonging to both the Bryn Mawr and Robbinsdale Chapters. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
