Norby, Dr. Richard died peacefully at his home in North Oaks on March 3 following a brief illness at age 93. Preceded in death by wife Marjorie (St. Clair) and son Erik. Survived by brother Paul Norby, Rear Admiral Ret, daughter Karin Mathews of Chagrin Falls and son Thomas (Mary Burns Norby) of St. Paul. Graduated St. Olaf College 1944 and University of Minnesota 1946. Served 2 years with Army hospital in Japan. Practiced old school medicine in Ohio and Florida, returning to his beloved Minnesota in 2008. Though he has signed out here for the last time, he will be at the hospital in Heaven tomorrow at 6:00 am sharp, ready to care for anyone still in need.
