Annual celebrations of the 4th of July were spent on Madeline Island at the State Park, the City Park, and Tom's Burned Down Caf. Surrounded by friends and family, this was Jay at his best. Music held a special place in his life. His passion for music was shared with his parents, brothers and sisters. He also loved to be out in nature, camping, canoeing, and embracing all the earth has to offer. Jay was a talented painter, and loved sharing that interest with the children in his life.
