Ahmann, John J. Age 87 of Bloomington, passed away peacefully March 1, 2015. A loving husband to Mary for 62 years and father who adored his four children; sons Wayne (Reen), Dennis (Teresa), Ron and daughter Mary Jo. Also survived by siblings Dan, Frank Jr (Marcia), Marjorie, Tom (Gigi), grandchildren Greg (Jalee), Dave (Lindsay), Stacy (Andy) Zachman, Cody (Alissa), Lisa (Tom) Ramlet and five great grandchildren. He served in the Navy during WWII. Special thank you to the staff at the VA Home of Minnesota and the VA Hospital for their tender loving care. Private interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Alzheimer's Association and Minnesota Veterans Home. Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM on Saturday March 7 with visitation one hour prior to service at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church, 901 East 90th Street, Bloomington, MN.
