Kahlenbeck, Steven Allen Age 64, of St. Louis Park, passed away unexpectedly but peace- fully February 25, 2015 while in his home-town of Grand Rapids MN. Steve grew up on Lake Pokegama and loved nature all his life. He started Aurora Pictures with Bob Foucault and loved filming the outdoors. His favorite activity in retirement was watching geese, eagles and other wildlife from our backyard deck. In recent years a highlight was an annual trip to Alaska with his brothers Kurt and Ron. He took great pride in the accomplishments of his daughters and will watch from afar. Survived by his wife, Julie Sweitzer, their daughters, Emily and Josie Kahlenbeck, and brothers, Kurt and Ron (Deborah, Katie and Ryan). Preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Dorothy (Mickels) Kahlenbeck. Memorials preferred to Save the Redwoods League, Listening Point Foundation or Brandenburg Prairie Foundation.
