Hayes, Raylanda Jean Raylanda Jean Hayes of Brooklyn Park, died on February 19, 2015 at the age of 62 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Moor-head, Minnesota to parents, Raymond and Joyce (Hamm) Rieck, of Brooklyn Center, MN, she was a graduate of Osseo High School, and the Minneapolis Area Vocational Technical School of Cosmetology. On July 14, 1973, Raylanda married Walter L. Hayes. She owned and operated Family Hair Care and Park Salon in Brooklyn Park and was a hairdresser for over forty years. Her love of reading, roses, and bowling league were only surpassed by her love of her cherished poodles. She was surrounded by the love of many friends and relatives. Her humor, love and can do attitude were special gifts to the people in her life. Raylanda is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Walter Hayes, mother Joyce Rieck and brother, Gordon Rieck, Brooklyn Center, MN, Dwaine Rieck, Mora, MN, Terry Rieck, New Hope, sister Carolyn (Tom) Roalstad, Anoka, MN, father-in-law Lloyd Hayes, Pierz, MN, brother-in-law Douglas (Nita) Hayes, Little Falls, MN, nieces and nephews: Melissa Rae Hayes, Amy Bell, Jessica Brown, Shannon (James) Nelson, Calvin Rieck, Robin (Jason) Worts, Jeremy (Jenica) Roalstad, and fourteen great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved father, Raymond Rieck, sister-in-law, Linda Rieck, mother-in-law Beverly Lee, grandparents, Edith and LT Hamm, Pauline Rieck, and aunts and uncles: Vicky Keenen, Ardeen Bale, Allen Rieck and Elwood Rieck. Visitation is Friday, March 6th from 4-7 p.m. at Cremation Society of MN, Brooklyn Park Chapel, 7835 Brooklyn Blvd., Brooklyn Park, MN 55445. Service is 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 7th, at Christ's Community Church, 13250 93rd Avenue North, Maple Grove, MN 55369.
